Farnborough Swimming Club

The Farnborough Swimming Club was originally based at the Aldershot Command baths, and moved to Farnborough Leisure Centre, Westmead in 1974. It's original aim was "To bring affordable swimming tuition to the people of Farnborough", this still remains our aim but now with an expanded program to include all members of the family from the age of 6 to 96, catering for non-swimmers through to life saving.

We are a volunteer run, non-profit making club with our teachers co-opted in the main from our pupils' parents.

We have three terms per year and meet every Thursday evening throughout the year with no breaks, except for Christmas. Lessons for beginners and improvers are of 1/2 hour duration. Livesavers and adult lessons are one hour duration
